2024 Controlled Substance Policy

Starting January 1st, we will be implementing a change in our policies regarding the dispensing of controlled substances. Previously, we filled prescriptions for controlled substances up to three days before their calculated due date. However, we will now be shifting to a two-day policy for filling controlled substance prescriptions.

Why the Change?

This change is a part of our ongoing commitment to comply with the regulations set forth by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community. We recognize the importance of responsible dispensing practices when it comes to controlled substances. By reducing the window for filling these prescriptions, we aim to minimize the presence of excess controlled substances in our community, which can potentially be abused or misused.
